I'm a lifelong builder of sustainable solutions. As CEO and Founder of Geared for GREEN, I've spent more than 35 years helping organizations—from Fortune 500 brands to schools and communities—turn sustainability into measurable economic, environmental, and social value. My passion is making circular economies real. Through Geared for GREEN, we've developed traceable recycling systems, certified raw materials, end-of-use collection programs, and blockchain-powered.
With extensive experience in sustainable business practices and innovation strategy, Andrew leads our initiatives in developing cutting-edge environmental solutions and sustainable business transformations.
Chris is currently the Chief Technology Officer for Geared For Green and the Founder of RegenrerateX, a Supply Chain Intelligence Blockchain Platform. He is a visionary creative leader and lifestyle expert with a proven track record of innovation, design, and social impact. A fourth-generation Colorado native, he has achieved success on both national and global stages across technology, healthcare, and cultural initiatives. He has pioneered healthcare innovation within communities of color through the founding of Keep Livin, a digital health platform serving multicultural populations. Chris also served as a market consultant for Kaiser Permanente’s launch of the Affordable Care Act and was awarded Startupbootcamp Miami for his digital health platform, Keep Livin Miami.
Nick Berman oversees the implementation of circular economy programs across a diverse portfolio of clients. He leads the development and execution of scalable sustainability and recycling initiatives that integrate zero-waste operations and logistics, recycled-content product sourcing, stakeholder engagement, and international supply chain collaboration-creating high-impact solutions that drive both environmental and business value. A certified TRUE Advisor and Six Sigma Black Belt, Nick blends operational precision with deep expertise in waste diversion and continuous improvement. He bridges supply chain strategy with operational efficiency and sustainability leadership to ensure every program is both environmentally and economically sound. Nick holds dual B.S. degrees in Economics and Ecosystem Science & Policy and a M.S. in Sustainable Business from the University of Miami. He brings a systems-thinking, team first mindset to every project, aligning with clients' ESG goals to accelerate meaningful progress toward a circular future. Outside of work, Nick finds his balance on the water, on the golf course, or holding out hope that this is the Detroit Lions' year.
Jeff is a seasoned leader in sustainability and circular economy solutions, with a proven track record of transforming waste into valuable resources and implementing impactful recycling initiatives. Since 2018, Jeff has worked closely with brand owners, manufacturers, event organizers, government entities, communities, and educational institutions, successfully delivering over 150 sustainability solutions that redefine waste as future raw materials for new products. He spearheads Champions for GREEN Events and Venues, an innovative program dedicated to turning events into sustainable experiences by collaborating with event professionals to reduce waste, develop products from recycled plastics, and educate stakeholders on sustainable practices. Through his leadership across several sustainability-focused companies, Jeff leverages deep industry knowledge, sustainable supply chains, and specialized teams to design, implement, and measure tailored sustainability initiatives. His work empowers clients to achieve their environmental goals while contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Steve brings over 45 years of executive leadership experience to APEX Sustainable Furnishings. A graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree, he built his career as an executive and owner in fastener importing companies. His expertise was recognized through his nine-year service as an Importer Representative on the Fastener Advisory Committee to the Federal Government. For the past three years, Steve has led APEX Sustainable Furnishings as COO and President, bringing his decades of business and industry experience to the sustainable furnishings sector, where he continues to drive innovation and growth while championing environmentally responsible practices.
Accomplished leader and PMP-certified professional with extensive experience in managing million-dollar projects across various industries. Founder of The Content Gym, where I pioneered a fitness focused photo and video studio, and former Program Manager at Hexagram and Within, leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic and operational goals. Expert in enhancing process efficiency, client engagement, and sustainable growth.
Tahir works on global initiatives at GFG focused on sustainable manufacturing & procurement, supply chain sourcing, zero waste recycling, and circular economy solutions for clients across diverse sectors including apparel, manufacturing, packaging, product design & development, and sustainable raw materials implementation & certification. As a TRUE Advisor certified by GBCI, Tahir brings expertise in sustainable business practices and circular supply chains. Tahir holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Political Science and Political Economy from Florida Atlantic University and pursued a Master of Public Affairs in Macro Economics & Public Policy at Brown University. Outside of his professional work, Tahir is an avid golfer and devoted father to Keebs, a four-legged terrier.
Originally from Rye, New York, Jake graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. in Economics from the renowned Maxwell School of Citizenship. After starting his career in private equity, he realized his passion was driving real change—and moved from New York City to South Florida to pursue that purpose. Today, Jake is proud to help businesses implement sustainability and circular economy programs as part of the Geared for GREEN team. His background in markets and economics allows him to effectively bridge the gap between business objectives and environmental impact while improving their supply chains and bottom line. Outside of work, Jake is always active—whether he's outdoors with his dog Frank, playing golf or tennis, or relaxing at Soho Beach House on the weekends with a spicy margarita in hand.
Katherine, a proud alumna of Colorado State University, began her career supporting executives and managing complex operations across diverse industries, quickly discovering a talent for bringing structure and efficiency to fast-paced environments. Driven by a passion for sustainability and organizational excellence, she joined the Geared for Green team, where she now serves as Administrative Manager. In her role, Katherine ensures seamless daily operations and oversees the critical behind-the-scenes work that enables the company's circular economy initiatives to thrive. Her expertise in executive support, process optimization, and technology integration allows her to keep projects running smoothly while contributing to impactful sustainability solutions.
